About us…
Looe’s four original glass bottom boats are all skippered by former commercial fishermen, with over 100 years of experience between them. All of the boats are licensed with the local authorities & come with all safety equipment.
You can board our boats from East Looe Quay (outside of the Amusement Arcade/Yamas Restaurant) or from the main boat trip pontoon, outside of The Lookout cafe (near the RNLI Boathouse).
Dogs are welcomed aboard our trips.
Looe Island
& Seal Spotting

This trip takes you from Looe Harbour along the coastline of Hannafore and around the beautiful Looe (St. George’s) Island.
Owned by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, the island is home to a large variety of seabirds, as well as a colony of grey seals, who spend much of the spring & summer around its rocky shores.
Beneath the boat, through our unique glass panels, you will see life beneath the waves. With a variety of sea life & fish to observe, every trip aboard with us offers a different perspective & things to spot.
Polperro
RETURN FROM £20pp
When tides permit, join us for a coastal cruise to Polperro where you will enjoy a minimum of 1 hour 30 mins ashore to explore the Village & a meal in one of the many pubs, cafes & restaurants.
Leaving Looe Harbour, the cruise takes approximately one hour. We follow the coastline past Hannafore and passing between the shoreline & Looe (St. George’s) Island; Port Nadler, Talland Bay.
You’ll arrive in the beautiful fishing village of Polperro which is one of Cornwall’s most picturesque harbours. The journey back to Looe takes one hour and gives the iconic view of Looe’s Banjo Pier as you return to port.
Payment can be made aboard all of the boats. Cash is preferred, debit & credit cards are accepted.
Private Hire
Each of our boats can accommodate up to 12 passengers (dogs are also welcome).
From just £100, you can hire one of our boats all to yourself for your family, friend or small group. Boats can be hired individually or, for larger parties, up to a total of 48 people when all boats are hired together.
